Sigil Studio
An independent design practice. Brand identity, web, and applications. Built slowly, with attention. The through-line is a kind of care: what a thing feels like to use, to receive, to hold.
How I work
Every engagement starts with a structured conversation. What the project is for, who it reaches, what success looks like. If the fit isn't right, I'll say so before work begins.
Visual decisions are argued and documented. A working prototype before a line of code. Nothing arbitrary. Every choice traceable to a reason.
The project is finished when it's in use, not when the files are transferred. Deployment, documentation, and a 30-day window for corrections. After that, retained support for clients who want it.
I take on a small number of projects at once so that each receives sustained focus. Quality is not a feature. It is the only output.
What this actually is
- A symbol charged with intention, not a logo
- What's already true, not what's trendy
- The unconscious, made conscious. Then built.
Every project starts the same way. Not a mood board, a conversation that surfaces what you already know about your business but haven't said out loud yet. Whatever gets built next just makes that visible.
I take on a small number of projects at once. If the work aligns, let's talk. If it doesn't, I'll say so early.
